The Revenue column lists earnings as well as advances and expenses.

The Balance column includes balances carried forward from previous statements. For example, if the revenue for a certain release on Spotify was $100, and you had a previous balance that was carried forward of $10, then the new balance amount would be $110.

Balances will be carried forward when the prior statement was negative, below the minimum threshold, or for some other reason it was not paid.
